6/04 UFC: Recap of Episode 10 of "The Ultimate Fighter 7 - Team Forrest vs. Team Rampage"

By Mallory Mahling Jun 4, 2008 - 11:07 PM

Amir Sadollah's win over Matt Brown had been the fight that had everyone talking last week. Jeremy May, however, couldn't stand all the attention being paid to those two fighters and decided he wanted a rematch against Brown. Like a yappy little dog, he wouldn't let go of the idea.

Back at the house, it would be an understatement to say that May was not well liked. The immature May overheard Jesse Taylor talking about him and made Jesse Taylor his next target.

Jeremy was scheming to get Jesse to hit him so that Jesse would have to go home. Jesse said he came close to hitting Jeremy, but had been talked out of it by the rest of the cast. Jeremy eventually apologized, but Jesse was having none of it.

Third Quarterfinal Match: Dan Cramer vs. Tim Credeur.

Tim was the winner via submission in a minute and a half.

Rampage said he was proud of Cramer, who had thrown some good punches early in the fight.

Back at the house, the tension was thick enough to cut with a knife.

C.B. didn't have much good to say about his opponent, figuring he could beat him easily. Rampage said he felt sorry for Cale.

Cale thought C.B. was over-hyped.

The coaches took the guys out to race go-carts. Forrest said it's something that's fun even if you suck at it like he did.

Then they went home and started drinking and turned into a demolition team. Every year the TUF House takes the brunt of the fighters' pent-up aggression, but this season was the worst yet. They knocked down bannisters, smashed furniture, broke windows, and took sledge hammers to the walls. What had been a posh home moments before was turned into a pile of rubble. It was appalling!  Far beyond any boys-will-be-boys excuse.  If they have that much energy, perhaps they should put some of it toward repairing the house before they leave.

Fourth Quarterfinal Match: C.B. Dolloway vs. Cale Yarbrough.

The fight started, then the show went immediately to commercial. Strange editing. Anyway, when the show resumed, C.B. was on his way to a win that came quickly.

Rampage was very pleased with the outcome. Forrest said he didn't like C.B.'s cockiness.

Forrest sat his team down and discussed the semi-final fights. They wanted Jesse vs. C.B. and Amir vs. Tim.

At the UFC Training Center, Dana White had called everyone together to discuss the semi-final fights, but Rampage was nowhere to be found. They waited for him for 45 minutes, then started without him.

Rampage finally arrived in a teeny little sports car. He'd overslept.

Dana made the fight announcements:

- Jesse vs. Tim.

- Amir vs. C.B.

Forrest jokingly said that even with all his brown-nosing, he still hadn't gotten his way with the fight picks.

Next week: The coaches' challenge and Jesse vs. Tim.
