THE UFC HEAVYWEIGHT FINALE REPORT!

RDLee here and we have a loaded card with the winner of The Ulitmate Fighter: Heavyweights to be determined when Brendan Schaub takes on the early favorite to win the show "Big Country" Roy Nelson. Will Nelson be able to use his huge gut to smother Schaub for another easy win like he did when he defeated Kimbo Slice and James McSweeney?

Also we have the man that everyone is tuning into to see kick some serious ass, the internet fighting legend and street certified backyard brawler, Kimbo Slice taking on UFC veteran and the dangerous slugfest artist, Houston Alexander on the undercard.

The co-main event is between the undefeated Jon "Bones" Jones as he fights against Matt "The Hammer" Hamill. Will Bones remain undefeated and take one step closer to a title match or will the Hammer drop and put a nail in Bones undefeated record?

And last but not least we get to see the hate fueled rivalry between Marcus "Big Baby" Jones and Matt "Voices in his Head" Mitrione come to a end as they will fight to prove their worth to the UFC fans in hopes to be given another chance down the line on a future UFC show.

All that and more and it starts NOW!

-

Matt Mitrione v.s. Marcus Jones

Round 1 - Marcus started off hot by taking Matt down and going for his crucifix ground and pound to which Matt avoided damage and got the fight back to it's feet. Matt hit some nice shots until Jones took him to the ground again in a guillontine attempt. Matt got out and Marcus failed at a triangle attempt. They were stood again and traded shots until Marcus took him down again and tried to GNP him again until the bell rung to end the first round. Marcus wins this round easy.

Round 2 - Short round. 10 seconds into it Matt crushed Marcus with some brutal right hands to the face which unfortunately stopped Big Baby and he hit the ground with the ref jumping into stop the fight giving Matt the win. I am sad.

Winner: Matt Mitrione (DAMN!)

-

Frankie Edgar v.s. Matt Veach

Round 1 - Edgar caught Veach with a nice right jab right off the bat which Veach shook off. Edgar pulled clinch and was taken down and picked up and carried across the octagon and brutally slammed but didn't follow up... Veach dragged him around and slammed him for a second time and maintained control until Edgar got back to his feet. Edgar is bleeding from his nose. Frankie hurt Matt with a few body shots and Veach appeared to be gassing out already and they continued to throw sloppy shots until the round end. I would give this round to Edgar 29-28 due to Frankie's good recovery from the slams and ground game and also Frankie had some good boxing style stand up.

Round 2 - Veach immediately went for the takedown which Edgar stopped. Frankie rocked Veach with a brutal right job and Frankie jumped on him and hit several blows which suprisingly Veach defended against the flurries and wiggled around until Edgar took his back and locked in a rear naked choke for the submission win.

Winner: Frankie Edgar

Joe Rogan interviewed TNA's newest asset Hulk Hogan who announced that he would be debuting in TNA on January 4th, 2010 and that TNA will be competing head to head with WWE starting that Monday night! Dixie Carter and Eric Bishoff where shown cage side smiling for the camera.

-

Mark Bocek v.s. Joe Brammer

Round 1 - Bocek looks alot like BWF and WWI member JT in my opinion. Bocek controlled the first round and picked up the win after mounting his back while Brammer was standing and rear naked choked him out for what could be submission of the night. Nobody in the arena cared either. Just filler material really.

Winner: Mark Bocek

-

Houston "The Assasin" Alexander v.s. Kimbo Slice (WAR KIMBO!)

Round 1 - Houston ran circles around Kimbo the entire round and seemed afraid to brawl with him, Kimbo even told him to come on and when he did Kimbo got some good shots in until Houston ran away again and circled around the octagon.

Round 2 - WOW! Kimbo gave Houston a MASSIVE and sickening suplex on his head and actually controlled him on the ground!!! This round was ALL Kimbo's and he nearly won a few times.

Round 3 - They exchanged some nice blows until Houston hit a nice leg kick and Kimbo tripped and fell but recovered and took Houston down. They continued to trade big blows and leg kicks until the very end. Kimbo should win this fight by decision with his MUCH improved ground game and defense not to mention his highlight reel Morishima backdrop driver that nearly ended the fight. UFC fans should expect to see Kimbo back soon after this decent performance.

Winner:  Kimbo Slice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

-

Matt "The Hammer" Hamill v.s. Johnny "Bones" Jones

Round 1 - Well, Jon Jones kicked Hamills ass and took him down in and pulled full mount and started pounding him out but finished him with an illegal elbow so I am not sure what the decision will be. To Matt's credit he did a very good job defending from under the full mount position. Jones was relentless in his attack and kept looking at the ref and asking him to stop even though Matt was defending quite well and some of Jones shots were missing or not damaging enough. The last few shots were illegal though because he threw up and down elbows to the head. Matt was hurt real bad and bleeding from the nose. Technically I think that Bones should be the victor based on the domination but due to not following the rules that might not be the case.

Winner: Matt Hamill by DQ!

-

James McSweeney v.s. Darrill "Titties" Schoonover

Round 1 - James started off by hitting Darrill with some big shots causing him to defend himself and even dropping to the ground to which Darrill used his weight to position himself on side control until McSweeney reversed and landed full mount working on his ground and pound which Darrill rolled out of the way and defended himself until they got back on their feet. Darrill hit a vicious knee that rocked James and he almost caught him but didn't finish when the bell rang ending the round.

Round 2 - Darrill charged James at the start of the round and hit some nice power shots until he tripped and fell on the ground until James jumped on top of him and began hitting elbows until Darrill tried to power out and get up, James kept him down and took his back but didn't capatilized because Darrill reversed position and then James reversed him back to being on top! A reversal fest is the story of this fight. McSweeney took his back again and held him until the round was over.

Round 3 - McSweeney took Darrill down but really couldn't keep him there at the start of the round. The ref stood them back up and McSweeney hit a major kick to the midsection followed by a jumping right knee and a high right kick to the head which dropped Titties and the ref jumped in and stopped it.

Winner: James (Dickhead) McSweeney

We go to Joe Rogan standing with Dana White who announces that Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz are the coaches for the next season of the Ultimate Fighter! Wow! What a big time announcement especially seeing that they will now be fighting at the end of season 11 with Liddell coming out of the forced retirement he was given by Dana a while back.

-

Brendan Schaub v.s. Roy "Big Country" Nelson - Ultimate Fighter 10 Heavyweight Finals

Round 1 - Roy Nelson actually came out to Weird Al Yankovich's hit single "FAT" which made Tharvey1 start giggling like a school girl for some reason. Brendan came out swinging and even rocking Roy up against the cage but unfortunately he didn't hit any clear shots and might have even wore himself out a little already while Roy bobbed and weaved and recovered by taking Schaub to the ground and tried postioning until Brendan found a way out to make the fight standing once more. Both men traded powerful shots and Brendan even wasted time puching Roy in his fat belly. All of a sudden Roy BLASTED Brendan with a wicked right hand and KOed with one shot. WOW. Roy is no joke! Big Country then jumps on top of the cage and rubs his belly as he celebrates his win as the Ultimate Fighter Heavyweights season 10 winner!

Winner: Roy "Big Country" Nelson

My thoughts on the show are that we saw Kimbo Slice make his official UFC debut and not disappoint. He showed many improvements on the ground and even hit a nasty suplex that has to be seen to be believed! I can't wait to see more of Kimbo in the future and bet that he will drastically continue to improve and become the fighter that he hopes to be.

I was disappointed with Matt Mitrione beating Marcus Jones because Big Baby was one of my favorites on the season due to his overwhelming showing of heart and his realness. I was impressed with Jon Jones even though he clearly doesn't understand the rules and not to throw illegal blows but I am glad he was DQed so he can learn his lesson and try not to do it again.

Finally I am happy that a fellow fatty in Roy Nelson won the show because it turns out to make Kimbo save a little face for losing to the most experienced guy that ended up winning the whole show. Roy won't dominate the heavyweight division but should get a couple wins on the undercards down the line. Roy did for us fat people so give him a hand!

Overall a great show and I am happy to have been able to real time this for you. See you all on Tuesday night for the ECW report! Good night everyone!
