Chops and punches come in a flurry. Flair tries an Inverted Atomic Drop, but that is countered. Shawn with a suplex from the apron to the ring, Naitch begs for it, and the slight hesitation from Michaels, allows Flair to poke the eyes, and gain control. However, the Rocker quickly regains momentum, hitting a Back Drop on the Nature Boy, then sending Naitch in the corner and over the top rope. Shawn out to attack, but is met by Perfect, so he rolls back into the ring.

Flair tries a backdrop, but Michaels counters, going for a roll-up, but Flair holds onto the ropes. Michaels connects with a dropkick instead. Shawn off the ropes, Perfect trips him up, and Naitch connects with a Knee drop. The two men exchange blows, Michaels gets the upper hand, and whips flair across, but the real World's heavyweight champion gets a foot up, then heads to the top. We all know what happened next.
