MATCH#1: BIG BOSSMAN w/Slick vs KOKO B.WARE DATE OF MATCH: AUGUST 29, 1988
FUN TRUE FACT: This happened at the very first SummerSlam
Bossman with a clothesline and goes for the pin, but pulls his head up before the three. Big Bossman with a submission hold applied, but Koko escapes with a kick to the face. The man from Cobb County, GA hangs Ware on the second rope, then comes off the ropes and lands on the back of his opponent. Then he slams the Birdman and heads up top, but Koko gets out of the way of the Splash.
Bossman sends Koko B.Ware into the ropes, but the Birdman avoids the splash, and the Big Bossman ends up hung up on the top rope. Koko with stinging rights, then jumps off the top and nails a dropkick. Ware then comes off the ropes, and nails a splash for the two. Koko gets another shot in, then charges at Bossman, but is dumped to the apron. Big Bossman brings him back in, sends him off the ropes, and gives the Birdman the Side Slam for the victory.

MATCH#2: TWO OUT OF THREE FALLS WWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP DEMOLITION (c) vs. HART FOUNDATION DATE OF MATCH: August 27, 1990
FUN TRUE FACT: Smash and Crush represented Demolition in this match. The ‘Freebirds’ rule, as it’s known, means any two of a three or more person stable can defend the titles.
Crush whips the Hitman across the ring, but runs into a boot in the corner and Crush gets rolled up for two. Hot tag to Neidhart, but he gets kicked in the back as he comes off the ropes by Crush. He gets beat up by Demolition, but then runs Crush down with a clothesline and tags Bret. Hart stays one step ahead of everything of the champions and gets a near-fall off a Russian Leg Sweep on Smash. A Backbreaker into a second rope elbow drop gets another near fall. Crush breaks it up with a leg drop. Bret gets dragged over to the corner for the Demolition Decapitation and that gets the 3.
DEMOLITION 1 – 0 HART FOUNDATION
Demolition maintains control and keeps Bret in their corner. Smash hits a back suplex and then tags in Crush for a neck wrench. He tries to elbow out, so Crush tags Smash who smashes Bret’s face into the turnbuckle. Bret hits a desperation clothesline as he comes off the ropes. He starts to crawl for the tag, but Demolition try and drag him to their corner. The ref stops it, which allows Bret to reach the Anvil for the tag. He slams Demolition and rams himself shoulder-first in the corner. Crush gets dumped, and a Hart Attack on Smash connects! Bret covers for the three, but Crush grabs the referee, which leads to the DQ.
DEMOLITION 1 – 1 HART FOUNDATION
Crush sends Bret to the floor to distract everybody. Meanwhile, Ax runs down and hides underneath the ring apron. Bret sunset flips back in on Smash for a near three count. Neidhart shoulder blocks Smash and slams Bret on top of him for a near fall. Smash rolls out and switches with Ax. Ax is fresh and starts pounding on Bret. Crush tags in for the Tilt-A-Whirl Backbreaker for the near fall. Neidhart comes in to brawl with Crush while Ax and Smash beat on Bret down on the floor. Smash switches with Ax and heads back into the ring to give Bret a hotshot. Just as Demolition look like winning, the Legion of Doom head to ringiside. They pull Ax out from under the ring and break up a Demolition Decapitation attempt, as Hawk knocks Smash off the top rope. Smash runs after them, leaving Crush all alone for a slingshot shoulder block by the Anvil into a Bret Hart schoolboy for the three count.

COMMERCIAL:
Before the next match, Honky Tonk Man and Jimmy Hart are in the ring, saying they’ll fight anyone and put the belt up. They didn’t expect the music of the Warrior.
MATCH#3: WWF INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP HONKY TONK MAN (c) w/’Colonel’ Jimmy Hart vs. ULTIMATE WARRIOR DATE OF MATCH: August 29, 1988
This match seems over from the get-go. Warrior finishes the longest Intercontinental Championship reign in history, in just thirty-two seconds.

MAIN EVENT: WWF INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP
‘Ravishing’ RICK RUDE (c) w/ Bobby ‘the Brain’ Heenan vs. ULTIMATE WARRIOR DATE OF MATCH: August 28, 1989
Rude fires shot after shot at his opponent, but it doesn’t affect Warrior, and he clotheslines the Champ out to the apron. Rude attempts a sunset flip back in, but Warrior blocks it and presses Rick up and throws him out to the floor. Warrior follows him out and hits him in the back with the IC title. Warrior slams Rude down on the floor and then brings him back in for a flying double-sledge for a two count. Ultimate Warrior whips Rude from corner to corner and then slams him for two. Warrior suplex gets two. Warrior delivers a bunch of atomic drops, but then gets crotched up on the top-rope, and the Ravishing one gets the advantage. Rude begins work on Warrior’s back for a while with a suplex and then sits on his back while applying a rear chin lock, which leads to a two count. Rude tries for the Rude Awakening, but Warrior powers out. Rude ducks a clothesline and hooks on a sleeper instead! Warrior escapes with a jawbreaker. Warrior with a headlock, but is sent and the ropes. Both men collide and go down, taking the referee with them.
COMMERCIAL:
Heenan wakes up Rude, and he starts pounding away, but Warrior starts to Hulk Up, or in this case, Warrior Up, and hits a bunch of clotheslines! Warrior even connects with a powerslam, and goes for the cover, but the referee is still down. Warrior tries to wake up referee Joey Marella, but then decides to give Rude a piledriver instead! Marella crawls over and counts a near fall, due to Rude getting his foot on the bottom rope. Running power slam by Warrior. Then he goes for the Warrior Splash, but Rude brings up his knees. Rick goes for the cover, and gets a two count. Rude heads up top and connects with the fist-drop for another near fall. The Ravishing One connects a Piledriver, as Roddy Piper heads to ringside. Rude sees Piper and decides to mock him instead of finishing off Warrior. Piper moons him by lifting up his kilt, which pisses off the Champion. Rude climbs up on the turnbuckle, but then Warrior comes up from behind with a back suplex. Warrior connects with the Running Shoulderblock, the Warrior Press Slam, and the Warrior Splash for the 1-2-3!
