I’m a lifelong wrestling fan who now watches less than two hours a week. So I guess I’m the resident "casual smart mark" around here. I'd like to welcome you to
Casually Twittering About(if you can come up with a better name, by all means let me know).
It’s a pretty simple concept, really...I scour Twitter (you can find me HERE!) looking for anything interesting or bizarre from the world of wrestling. Trust me when I say this: you think wrestlers are weird INSIDE of the ring??? Heh...just check out what I've found for you in the last few weeks!
AL SNOW LAME JOKE OF THE WEEK (part one)
See how this works?
Alright...let's move along to some comments made by some wrestlin' ladies!
First up is my all-time favorite, Tammy "Sunny" Sytch. One of the things she likes to do from time to time is answer fan questions. This one caught my eye for a number of reasons...
OUCH.
Now I'm all about "living the gimmick", but this one confuses even me. I mean...no offense to the guy or anything...but Daniel Bryan? Really??
And speaking of Daniel Bryan, he's apparently setting up a side business of giving advice via Twitter. It's pretty solid, if you ask me...
I'm not a HUGE fan of McDonalds, but I'll fully admit to being a fan of their chicken nuggets. And up until recently, I had no idea that they actually carried a 50-piece McNugget pack on their menu.
Chris Hero didn't either...and felt a "Man v Food" challenge was required:
Ummm...I don't know whether I should be impressed or be inspired. FIFTY in one sitting? I feel guilty buying the 20-pack...and I haven't done that in awhile. Hmmm...man versus food, eh?
Alright...back to tweets. Some people have been wondering how MVP has been doing since he left WWE (reportedly he requested the release). So somebody decided to ask him point blank how things were. MVP, apparently, is doing quite well...
Well then...good for MVP.
Oh...and if you're looking for a good belated Christmas gift, take some advice from CM Punk:
What about me? No...what about RAVEN?? Apparently the guy is a fan of geography (hey kids...stay in school!!!).
AL SNOW LAME JOKE OF THE WEEK (part two)
Seriously...I love these jokes. They're so bad they're good!!
And what would a Twitter column be without something creepy written by Goldust?
I'm sorry...I just threw up in my mouth a little.
Hey...guess who is now on Twitter?? How about only one of the most memorable heels of all time??? The one....the only.....
Hey JG...is there a Club WWI interview of this guy yet? If not...there should be!!
Y'know how some people like to spread around holiday cheer? Apparently Dolph Ziggler likes to spread other things...
And no...Colt Cabana and Adam Pearce aren't offensive at all. Why do you ask?
One of the great things about Twitter is watching people have conversations back and forth. Sometimes the conversations are entertaining to no end...and sometimes the conversations make no sense whatsoever.
Ummm....what???
Of course, sometimes conversations can spark brilliance...
Somebody needs to really teach Sonjay Dutt how to tweet. The poor guy has been on Twitter for awhile now but still can only muster tweets like this:
Alright...we're gonna end this column with an exchange featuring our very own JG, or fearless leader James Guttman and WWE Hall of Famer JR, Jim Ross.
