Welcome to SHIMMERingWarlock Presents, a new series of reviews, created and edited by Mike Johns, showcasing the great wide world of professional wrestling in video form.  Unlike most wrestling video reviews on the internet, SHIMMERingWarlock Presents looks to focus primarily on the Independents, promotions such as Dragon Gate USA, EVOLVE, CHIKARA, WSU, SHIMMER, and others.  SHIMMERingWarlock Presents uses actual footage of each show in question, a practice that is protected by law under Fair Use.  We at SHIMMERingWarlock Presents hope that by showing actual clips of Independent Shows in these reviews, it will reach out and entice a new audience of wrestling fans to check out more of what the Independent Wrestling World has to offer, leading to a stronger and more viable wrestling industry as a result.  After all, nothing is more effective in capturing a fan's interest than seeing the show for themselves.  We also look to give the viewers as detailed a backstory on everything going on in the promotion at the time as possible.  Hopefully, after watching a SHIMMERingWarlock review, new fans will be more inclined to check out the wide array of professional wrestling shows in the market today, giving brands that have yet to gain Mainstream Exposure a little more visibility.
