I just confirmed the sad news that Mike Johnson reported on PWInsider.com, former WWE star Lance Cade has passed away at the age of 29.

I had the chance to know Lance following his WWE release and speak to him at length about a number of things, both on and off air.   He had a tremendous amount of talent and was always a terrific guy whenever I spoke to him.   I had hoped he would have one more chance to show the world his true potential.  Sadly, his life ended before he could.

I'm sure there will be more details to follow on the reasons for his passing.   But for right now, we should all just remember what he did in the ring and send our thoughts to his two daughters, who he loved very much.   My condolences, as   well as those of all here at World Wrestling Insanity, go out to Lance's family and friends at this time.
