WWE SuperStars SuperReview: Evan Masters Chris, Regal Wrecks Tyler, and All Three Members of The Hart Dynasty See Action

We're back with another week of bone crushing, body slamming, back breaking action! Unless Hornswoggle is involved in the program, in which case I'm just going to get really drunk and write a 3000 word diatribe on why Fit Finlay should kick him in the head.

Man I love that intro, it never fails to get me hyped for the show! Being a fan of generic radio rock makes it go down sweetly too.

Battle #1 Evan Bourne vs. Chris Masters

I haven't really been impressed by Masters since he made his return to the company but then again, I was never really a big fan to begin with! Maybe he'll mesh well with the high-flying, high-energy in-ring style of Mr. Bourne?

Michael do you realise that Chris Masters has muscles in places you don't even have places!”. Man, I've said it before and I'll say it again, I love when Jerry Lawler comes out with this kinda stuff. Please turn heel again Mr. King? Pretty please?

Entertaining, punchy match which played out in a very logical manner. Masters obviously had the power advantage and the only way Bourne could beat him was by using his nimble quickness. Evan won with his ever spectacular “Airbourne” Shooting Star Press from the top rope. Well there you go, I was impressed by Masters. “Whodda thunk it Cole!?”

Winner: Evan Bourne

Battle #2 William Regal w/Vladimir Kozlov & Ezekial Jackson vs. Tyler Reks

One of my favourites over the years in the WWE vs. a guy who has really caught my eye over the past few months? This one should be good!

I know I pretty much say this every week but I can't over how surprised I am at the announcing combination of Matt Striker and Josh Matthews. It's the little things which make them so good.

The crowd were quiet for this one, probably because it was at a slower pace and there were a lot of submission holds. I liked it though you really got the impression that it was a battle to hold your opponent onto the mat for 3 seconds, which is fundamentally the 'goal' for a wrestling match. Regal will get that ECW Title sooner rather than later I feel! He deserves it too, such a consistent performer. “Sir William” got the duke with the “Knee Trembler” for the 1..2..3!

After the match, the 2008 King of the Ring instructed his entourage to send a message to Christian and lay into Reks, nailing him with some power moves.

Winner: William Regal

In Other News...

Little hype video for the WWE Unified Tag Team Champions Chris Jericho and “The Artist Formerly Known as Burger Kings #1 Customer”. Paul Wight, if you are reading this.. Well.. I love you big guy. Seriously, since The Big Show has teamed up with Chris “Mr. Reliable” Jericho, he has become instantly more watch able.

RAW Rebound..

Recap from Monday night where “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes was this weeks guest host for the show. He set-up John Cena and watched him get a beat down from Legacy, supposedly at the request of his son Cody Rhodes. Isn't it funny to see these old timers such as Ted Dibiase Sr and Dusty Rhodes out there who have still got it in regards to promo skills? I think it's fantastic to watch and when men such as these are picked for the 'guest host' spot, it's always more entertaining.

An excellent segment at the end where Randy Orton hits the RKO on Dusty, sending young Cody ballistic with rage at his leader. This goes a long way to showing Orton as the harsh and cold character he is supposed to be. Awesome stuff.

Your Main Event & Mine Cryme Tyme & Eve vs. The Hart Dynasty

I've always loved 6-man tag team matches which involve entire stables/factions/groups and I'm sure this one will be no different.

One a side note, I love this new referee in the WWE.

“TAAAAAAAAAAAAAAG!”

Good bout here which flowed exactly as expected, not that this is a bad thing! Nice to see the girls get to take it home too. Natayla got the win for her team with a beautiful “Discus Clothesline” after Eve had missed an equally picturesque handspring moonsault.

Winners: The Hart Dynasty
