Gobble Gobble Gobble. I hope everyone had a great turkey day.

After the tryptophan has worn off and the holiday weight gaining has begun, I'm glad you have decided to stop by for yet another edition of the C-Show Showdown featuring
WWE Superstars and
TNA Xplosion!
Match 1:
Curt Hawkins vs Trent Barreta
Barreta is out slapping hands with the crowd during his entrance. I guess this week, he is playing the babyface. This is a good rematch. Hawkins and Barreta have decent chemistry in the ring and both of these guys need to get going or they might not be around much longer. I like Hawkins and I can tolerate Barreta. I am actually becomming more and more of a fan of Barreta the more I see him. He is sooooooooo much better without Caylen Croft. This is a very good match and both guys are proving they can hold their own in singles competition. I can't shake the image that Curt Hawkins looks like a younger Philip Seymour Hoffman.

See what I mean??? Anyways...back to the match. As Barreta went for the Springboard DDT, Hawkins reversed it and tossed him face first to the mat. He picked him back up and hit his twisting neckbreaker for the pinfall victory.
Match 2: Santino and Kozlov vs Zack Ryder and Primo

This guy is so money, he has his Twitter page on the back of his trunks. http://twitter.com/ZACKRYDER I follow him...do you? Speaking of following someone, follow me. http://twitter.com/tharvey83 Back to the matchup. As much as I like the guy, he is probably hanging onto his job by a thread right now. Same with Primo. I think the Cobra might be the most popular finishing move in the WWE right now. As soon as Santino enters the ring, the fans start chanting for it. Lucky for the fans, he gets the win with the Cobra on Primo.
Match 3: Mark Henry vs The Uso's w/ Tamina (Handicap Match)
This is a rematch from a couple of weeks ago...and Tamina still looks like a man. I guess I should watch what I say. I don't know if I can get in trouble for that or not, so let's just say she looks a little too manish for my liking. I don't really have too much to say about this match that I didn't say a couple of weeks ago. If you want my opinion on these guys, just go back and re-read my article from their first handicap match. Big Mark wins this rematch with the World's Strongest Slam. The crowd loves him.
Match 1: Okada vs Rob Terry
Rob Terry is returning here. Does anyone really care? Did anyone really notice he was gone? Okada is pretty impressive. He is young and was trained by Ultimo Dragon. Terry gets the win with the Freakbuster. Meh.
Match 2: Sarita vs Taylor Wilde
Did anyone realize that the TNA Knockout's Tag Titles were still in existance? Taylor Wilde is half of the tag champs, Hamada being the other half. While Knockout wrestling is much better than Diva wrestling, I have no interest in either of these two. Sarita gets the win after she reversed a cross body block from the top rope and she hooked the trunks on the pin.
Verdict:
TNA Xplosion sucked this week, so the winner is WWE Superstars. Curt Hawkins and Trent Barreta put on a nice match and we got to see the Cobra by Santino. That's a pretty decent Thanksgiving broadcast. Especially since they probably weren't expecting many people to watch.
Showdown MVP:

This week's MVP is
Santino. The people love him and he got to use the Cobra finisher. Let's all be thankful for that.
That's it for me for this week. Join me again next week as I delve into another C-Show Showdown.
