Welcome to another edition of the C-Show Showdown. I hope all is well with you as we enter the holiday season. Is everybody ready to go?
WWE Superstars vs.
TNA Reaction. Well, put on your puffy shirts and let's go then.

Match 1: Tyler Reks vs Trent Barreta
Curt Hawkins comes out to do guest commentary. This is good. I would like to see if Hawkins can show some personality and charisma.
I like Tyler Reks' look. He is powerful and is unique looking. It's a much better look than the surfer dude who seemed to walk around with a stick up his butt. He is a little boring in the ring and the crowd doesn't respond to him very well, so his push might be limited. Barreta is impressive with his quickness and his unique offense. He will be limited until he fixes his look, however. Tyler Reks gets the win with the Burning Hammer.
Match 2: William Regal vs Darren Young
This match means nothing until Darren Young comes up with something. Young is sporting a new haircut and looks even more like John Cena. I said a couple of months ago that I believe Regal could make this guy a star, but now I don't know. Young just doesn't seem to get it at this point in his career. With all of the recent releases, I'm a little surprised Young wasn't among them. I would like to see him do well, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen. Regal wins with the Regal Stretch. Not much to this match. CM Punk posed the question "Where does Darren Young go from here?"
Match 3: Tyson Kidd vs David Hart Smith
This is a good matchup for Superstars. I wish this would have been on RAW to give this feud some much needed exposure, but I like seeing it on this show too. Hopefully, these guys can work well together and start something that can lead to a mid-card title for one of these guys...
...
This guy!
This is a very good match. Tyson Kidd is awesome and David Hart Smith has good in-ring skill. Too bad he has no personality. Tyson Kidd tried to sunset flip for a pin, but David Hart Smith sat down for the 3-count.

After the match, DH Smith attempted to shake Kidd's hand. Kidd, however, slapped him in the face and ran out of the ring.

We start off the show with the continuation and conclusion of the Impact Main Event between Samoa Joe and Pope vs Jeff Jarrett and Abyss. For those of you who watch Impact, you already know that Joe and Jarrett have beef, Abyss and Pope have beef, and Joe and Pope have...you guessed it...beef.

At the end of the match, Jarrett went for the guitar from under the ring while the ref is distracted with what's going on outside with Pope and Abyss. Why is there a guitar under the ring? As he goes to hit Joe, Joe kicks it out of his hands and the guitar shatters. Joe then takes the left over handle and the referee turns around to see the shattered guitar and Joe holding it's remains. Thus, he calls for the bell and Jarrett and Abyss get the win via DQ. After the match, Jarrett sneaks up behind Joe and locks on a rear naked choke. He calls in Abyss and they drag Joe to the casket, which is sitting ringside to promote Abyss and Pope at Final Resolution. As they open the casket, Kurt Angle pops out and attacks Jarrett. Jarrett scrambles out through the crowd.
Somewhere backstage, Jeff Hardy talks about reaching a level never seen before and says he can't be beaten. Time to get off the crack/speed mix there, Itchweed.

They run through the current feuds set for Final Solution. The funniest part was the segment with Eric Young talking about Mickie James. He said they were now dating and they were going on tour together as a band. It said Mickie has pretty good aim with her knees and she kneed Tara in the private parts. He called it a vag bone. Pretty funny stuff there.
Brother Ray is backstage talking about Devon and how he is the Marty Jannetty of Team 3D. He said people might not like him, but they respect him. People don't respect Devon. Devon is shown backstage and he calls Ray a bully, which Ray calls himself when it cuts back to him. Haven't we seen this before? Didn't this happen like 10 years ago in WWE?
Jay Lethal and Robbie E program is reviewed. Christie Hemme is getting involved in this angle with Cookie. She says she is really annoyed right now because of her and she won't tolerate it anymore.
This Reaction is the final hype to Final Resolution, so alot of this stuff has been said during Impact and the past few Reactions for quite sometime now. The only new developements out of this past Thursday is that Ken Anderson is the special guest referee for the TNA Heavyweight Title match between Matt Morgan and Jeff Hardy.
Verdict:
This week the winner is
WWE Superstars...yet again. TNA is just so messed up right now. At least Superstars gave us Tyler Reks vs Trent Barreta with Curt Hawkins on guest commentary and a fresh match with Tyson Kidd and DH Smith. TNA is off it's rocker right now and they need to change it up soon.
Showdown MVP:

This week's MVP is
Curt Hawkins. He didn't have a match, but he showed the personality and charisma that I've been wanting to see from him for a while now. He should be on Smackdown on a weekly basis and hopefully he soon will be.
