Aloha from the sandy beaches of my mind! I hope all is well with you. Welcome to another C-Show Showdown, where my insanity makes all that you see possible. Let's see what type of craziness we can get into today as we pit
WWE Superstars vs.
TNA Reaction.
Match 1: JTG vs Tyler Reks
We have a caveman sighting in the arena! Tyler Reks is huge! This dude has the look and the finishing move to be a star in the WWE, but does he have the personality and charisma to be a big time player? That remains to be seen. JTG is a guy who should get some type of push. I'm tired of seeing this guy, who has tons of potential, be wasted as a jobber on Superstars. Get him some play on Smackdown as an upper-mid card contender. I mean, he even pulled out some fuzzy dice from his pants during this match. Come on. Pure awesomesauce.

Tyler Reks pulls off the victory, however, with the Burning Hammer - a cool looking finisher.
Match 2: Trent Barreta vs Curt Hawkins
Yes...this match...again. I like these two guys. Barreta has really grown on me since they got him away from Caylen Croft. Hawkins should be on Smackdown with a much bigger role. What can I say that I haven't already said about these two guys? Come on, WWE! Give me something new to work with. This is a great match, though...so kudos, I guess, to the WWE for giving us this match again. Trent Barreta gets the win with the Dudebuster DDT.
Match 3: Zack Ryder vs Ezekiel Jackson

Ohhhh, radio tell me everything you know!
This guy is legen....wait for it....dary. Legendary! You have been Barney Stinsoned. I am on this guy's bandwagon, by the way...follow him on Twitter. The massive Ezekiel Jackson...who you should also follow on Twitter...is a freaking mountain. CM Punk even said the only way you can take Big Zeke down is to throw a fire ball. Surprisingly, Ryder got in some offense. In the end, Jackson is just too much. He gets the win with The Book of Ezekiel.
Match 4: Eve vs Alicia Fox
This is the main event? Seriously??? Diva matches should be nowhere near the main event. Alicia Fox should be even further away than that. Eve gets the win in this one with a moonsault from the top rope. That was a good finish, but I HATE DIVA MATCHES!!!

Reaction starts off where Impact left off. This time we get the tail end of the cage match between Tara and Mickie James. As much as I hate Diva wrestling, I am perfectly fine with the Knockouts having a main event match on Impact...especially since it's a cage match.

Oh yeah! Mickie hit a tremendous Thesz Press from the top of the cage to get the pinfall. Unbelievable!
Ken Anderson is shown in the back talking about the finish between Matt Morgan and Jeff Hardy. He wonders why things can't just be one on one. Morgan talks about having to fight Anderson at Genesis for a shot at Hardy's hideous looking cartoon belt. He says Bischoff is setting them both up for failure.
Team 3D's issues are highlighted next. I think we all know what's happening in this...if you have been keeping up with TNA. If not, then go read Mike Johns's column. Ray says he has been relevant since day one and Devon has riden his coattails his whole career.
Next up is Beer Money vs The Motor City Machine Guns feud. MCMG's matchup with Gunner and Murphy is shown in a highlight package. Chris Sabin tries to sound tough in a backstage interview. He didn't sound comfortable with that.
More on Mickie James and Tara. Mickie says she finally got vengence in the cage match. She says she feels bad for injuring Tara, though. According to her, the Knockout's title is next.
Pope talks about his rebirth after the casket match with Abyss.
Douglas Williams discusses winning the TNA TV Title against AJ Styles. AJ says that nobody likes to lose, especially knowing he is the better wrestler. He does remind everyone that he gets a rematch and he thinks he deserves a little more respect than Bischoff is giving him right now.
Jeff Jarrett yells at a producer about not giving him respect.
Next, we get more rehashing of Devon/Ray, Mickie/Tara/Madison, and Anderson/Morgan. I really think Reaction could be a 30 minute show instead of the hour long show it is now. There is no point to talk about the same things 3 times.
The Verdict:
This week the winner is
TNA Reaction. Even though they continue to shove the same story lines down our throats 3 and 4 times in the same hour long show, they did give us the ending of Mickie James vs Tara in a cage. That was fun.
Showdown MVP:

This week's MVP is
Mickie James. That was a heck of a move to finish the match against Tara. She has lost weight since she left the WWE and she is really hot again.
That's it for me this week. For the next couple of weeks, I will be unavailable to do the C-Show Showdown, so JG will be finding someone to fill in for me. Thanks for joining me this week. Remember to get you end of the year awards and predictions into the site at
