Welcome, my friends to the show that never ends...otherwise known as professional wrestling. Yet another edition of the C-Show Showdown awaits you. It's
WWE Superstars vs.
TNA ReAction. I watch it so you don't have to, so let's jump head first into the shallow end.
WWE Superstars: 10/14/2010
Match 1: Kelly Kelly w/ Natalya vs Layla w/ Michelle McCool
This is one of TWO divas matches on this episode. What a waste of time this is. I like Layla and she has definitely improved, but I can't watch diva wrestling unless Beth Phoenix is involved. Kelly Kelly gets the win with a roll-up .
Match 2: Curt Hawkins vs Trent Barreta
Should this match really be on Superstars? This is the type of match that should be going on down in FCW. However, this is actually a pretty decent match and Curt Hawkins looks like a legitimate mid-carder at this point. He is getting over with his Heat Seeking Elbow. He gets the win here with it.
Match 3: Primo w/ AJ vs Darren Young
Primo is considered to be a "pro" according to WWE, so they might as well use him. This is where Darren Young belongs right now since he is out of Nexus. Young gets the win after a counter of the Backstabber into what looks like the Skull Crushing Finale. Odd choice of finisher.\
Main Event: Melina vs Alicia Fox w/ Maxine
MAIN EVENT?!?! Are you kidding me? A divas match should never....EVER...be a main event on any WWE programming. There should also never be TWO divas matches on one show. Especially when there is other viable talent to use and give TV time to. Whatever. Melina gets the pinfall victory.
WWE Superstars 10/21/2010
Match 1: Santino Marella and Kozlov vs The Usos
I've mentioned it before on previous Superstars reports, but as much as I'm tired of the Usos face off against the Hart Dynasty...I am just as tired of seeing them go against Santino and Kozlov. How many times do we have to see Tamina try to seduce Santino? Santino is on a roll right now though. He beat Zack Ryder to "earn" his spot on Team RAW at Bragging Rights and then he gets the win here with the Cobra again on one of the brothers. Tamina waved at him after the match.
Match 2: Darren Young vs William Regal
Its good to see Young on Superstars so much lately. I like him and William Regal is the perfect opponent for him right now. Young looked tough in this match until Regal finished him off with the running knee for the win.
Nexus segment. Pretty much the same thing that's been on RAW lately. Barrett said he will become WWE Champ on Sunday and that if Cena doesn't follow his instructions, then he will be fired.
Main Event: Chris Masters and MVP vs WWE Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre
I like the team of Masters and MVP. This could work out for them if given the opportunity. This is a very competitive match and MVP and Masters have had chances to win. Their time eventually runs out after Cody hit MVP with the Crossroads for the win. I would like to see more of this on Smackdown at some point.

TNA Reaction 10/14/2010
Pretty surprising that we get what was supposed to be TNA Impact's main event. This has happened before, but not to the same extent.
RVD vs Mr. Anderson...continuation from Impact
I understand that some people don't like Anderson, but I am a huge fan of his. I think he has a great ability to get the audience involved in his matches. Towards the end of the match, RVD missed the 5-Star Frog Splash. Eric Bischoff came down to the ring and had Earl Hebner follow him to the backstage area. Jeff Hardy then came down with a chair and roughed up both RVD and Anderson. This match ended without a finish.
There is a little snip of Dixie arguing with Hogan and Bischoff. Pope is then shown in the back saying things have taken a turn for the worse.
Joe talks backstage about there being no warriors in TNA anymore and says he will continue to shed his own blood. Jeff Jarrett is shown talking about taking back what is righfully his. Back to Joe saying that Jarrett is on the top of his hitlist now.
Fortune is backstage saying they added Hogan and Bischoff because of business reasons and it's about making money. Cut to Pope talking about Jeff Hardy selling out for the money. Was it because of the money of because of the easy road to the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. He says life is about winners and losers and by taking shortcuts, you can't be proud of what you've accomplished. He joined with Sting and Nash to expose who were the good guys and who were the bad guys. He's going to continue to fight the fight for as long as he has to...even he has to do it by himself.
Rob Van Dam talks about second guessing Jeff Hardy's friendship in the past. Hardy says that he is TNA now and that him and RVD will move on to having the greatest matches of all-time. Abyss says that Jeff Hardy finally realized that it's time for Jeff to be all about Jeff. He then says he and Janice won't rest until RVD is banished from TNA.
Mr. Anderson is shown getting his shoulder wrapped backstage. He says that he is coming for Hardy and that he doesn't trust anyone anymore.
Superstar spotlight on Jay Lethal and his journey to TNA. This guy is a STAR!!! Fact!
J-WOWW from the Jersey Shore talks backstage about her run-in with Cookie. She says she could see herself doing some more of this in the future. This was stupid.
More from Fortune and Pope. This is a little overkill now. We don't need an entire show dedicated to talking about one faction.
Cut to Joe talking about his army of one.
RVD talks more crap about Jeff Hardy.
Abyss says Immortal removed the silverspoon from Dixie Carter's mouth and that they will turn TNA upside down.
TNA Reaction 10/21/2010
This episode of Reaction is basically ran by Eric Bischoff. He says he will run us through the planning of taking over TNA from Dixie Carter. This is just a time line episode. We all know the deal here, so I'm not going to explain that. That would be an extremely long and confussing process that could be it's own article.
Verdict:
The winner of this weeks C-Show Showdown is WWE Superstars. They did a good job in selling Curt Hawkins and Darren Young. Hawkins looks like he could potentially be something and Darren Young is getting TV time.
Showdown MVP:

The MVP this week is Curt Hawkins. He reminds me of a young Shawn Michaels at this point and hopefully he continues to develop.
That's it for me this week. Thanks for reading and remember...I watch this so you don't have to.
