- Commentary by JR & Lawler (for Raw), and Cole & JBL (for SD), and Joey Styles & Tazz (for ECW)

- The opening clip focused only on the DX/McMahons match and the Cena Vs Edge main event.

- They announced over 16000 people are in the arena for the 19th annual WWE SSlam.

1) Chavo Guerrero beat Rey Mysterio at 10:59 after a Frog Splash.

At 5:02 the 2 were KO'ed after a double face slam from the top rope. Rey hit the 619 and then Huracanrana'd Chavo to the outside at 7:40. Vicky Guerrero bounced to the ring at 8:13 and slapped Chavo. Rey continued to attack Chavo while Vicky where screaming them to stop. Rey hit the 3 Amigos and the crowd boo'ed bad. The crowd is hot tonight and they seem to hate that angle bad. Too bad because they were hot for the whole match. Rey climbed the ropes and Vicky tried to stop him. She tripped and almost broke her leg. On the way down she "inadvertently" tripped Rey. Chavo followed up with a Brainbuster and a Frog Splash for the win.

Good stuff, but I'm pretty sure I've seen it a million times already with these two.

- Sharmell & King Booker talked all medieval with each other backstage about their main event. Booker has now a gay english accent. He called himself and Sharmell the most powerful couple in WWE. Edge & Lita interrupted them and disagreed with their claim. Booker asked for a little bet to Edge. If Booker wins and Edge loses, he shall come kiss Booker's feet on SD, and if Edge wins and Booker loses, he becomes his servant for the night. How they didn't crack up on live TV with Booker's funny accent is astounding.

- A commercial for august's WWE Fanatic Series aired : World's Greatest Managers.

2) ECW World champion, The Big Show beat Sabu in an "Extreme Rules" match with a Chokeslam through a table.

Sabu attacked straight away with a chair, but BS countered easily and dominated for the next few minutes. After missing a few spots, Sabu Bulldog'ed BS through a table in the ring. BS got up straight away and hit an Electric Chair on Sabu. BS then hit a Vader-like Splash in the corner for a scary bump. Both guys looked hurt and tired. In a horrible spot, BS set up a table between 2 stairs in the ring. Sabu jumped in BS's arms, slipped,and everyone boo'ed. He finally hit a DDt through the table. 2 seconds later BS was up and Chokeslammed Sabu through a table for teh win.

Bad stuff. Almost a parody of an ECW match and the millions of missed spots makes it worse.

- They replayed Layla's win at the Divas Search contest. I am proud to say that I wouldn't even do her with Daivari's dick.

- Layla entered the women's locker room and was shun by the girls. Trish took command and confronted Layla telling her she hadn't what it took to be a WWE Divas. All the girls cornered her and they all laughed since it was all a joke, and all the Divas welcomed her with open arms. lol indeed. Trish then took her to the showers and they made Layla be all wet and slapped her ass. They all screamed in laughter. We almost saw a boob. This segment is one of the main reasons I never say aloud that I'ma wrestling fan. I don't care about the ratings, it does much more harm than good in the long run.

- They plugged the single from theTeddybears called "Cobrastyle" which is "one of the" (many) official songs for the PPV. 

3) Hulk Hogan beat Randy Orton at 10:57 with the Atomic Legdrop.

Huge pop for Hogan, tons of signs and people dressed like him in the arena. Hogan's hair has never ever been that long. At 1:50 a huge "Let's go Ort-gan" chant started. (no idea which it was ...). At 4:05 Hogan actually did a crotch chop, and the camera showed a huge breasted MILF in the first row cheering on. She had bigger breasts than anyone in WWE. It was awesome. Rarely in his life has Hogan done so little. At 6:20 Orton started attacking Hogan's left knee. At 8:29 Hogan took a bump after a Dropkick and then on the RKO. Orton actually pinned Hogan at 9:15 for the 3-count, but Hogan's foot was on the ropes and the referee ordered the match to continue. Hogan did his whole finishing sequence and pinned Orton after his Atomic Legdrop. Hogan celebrated at ringside and saluted his #1 fan, the guy who tatoo'ed Hogan over his whole back.

Crowd was happy. I doubt the internet crowd will be happy. Ugh.

- They plugged WWe 24/7, now available on Comcast.

- Melina went to encourage her friend Mick Foley before his match. Melina isn't sure the match is a good idea. Foley got angry and said there is no way he's losing. Melina smiled, happy to see her friend all pumped up. Melina in TE2 and Melina here ... I can't believe it's the same person. From monster to hottie.

4) Ric Flair beat Mick Foley at 13:14 in an "I quit" match.

Foley started straight away by attacking Flait with a trashcan. He asked Flait on the mike to say I quit now, or to suffer. Flair stayed silent so Foley took out barbwire. Flair countered with the ball-claw. Flair put on Mr.Socko and barbwire and chopped Foley's bare chest. On the outside Foley took his trademark knees in the stairs bump. Foley then took out a table covered in barbwire and threw in on Flair. Flair is bleeding bad and we're just 4 mn in. Crowd is chanting "we want fire". After a few more shots, Foley asked again on the mike, but Flair said "kiss my ass. At 6:00 Foley took out the thumbtacks and Bodyslammed 60 year old Ric Flair in it. Nobody could believe it. Lots of tacks stuck to Flair. Foley took out the barbwire baseball bat. Flair countered again with a low-blow. Flair took the bat and actually hit Foley's arm with the bat without protection. Foley bled from the arm. Foley took a horrible bump from the apron to the outside and landed half on the floor and half on a garbage can. Trainers, EMTs and Melina came down. They ordered the match to stop since Foley couldn't continue. At 10:25 the bell rang. Flair asked the match to continue. Flair attacked Foley in the eyes with the bat. Melina threw in the towel at 12:20 and the bell rang again. Flair refused to win like that. Flair was gonna hit Melina with the baseball bat, but Foley said "I quit" to protect his friend.

Awesome spectacle but the crowd (and the rest of the world!) hated the finish. Wot ? No fire ? Scandalous!~

- Armando Estrada told the McMahons backstage that they could count on Umaga tonight.

5) Batista beat World champion, King Booker (with Sharmell) by DQ. at 10:29 when Sharmell interfered.

 At 5:00 Booker broke his scepter on Batista's head with the Queen was distracting the ref. A small "she's got herpes" chant started at 6:25. At 9:08 Batista hit the Jackhammer for a 2 count, and a small "Goldberg" chant was heard. Sharmell jumped on Batista to break up a Batista-Bomb attempt. And the bell was rung for the DQ. Wow. Crowd boo'ed bad. Batista got mad and attacked Booker after the match and botched a Batista Bomb horribly, which could have been dangerous for Booker.

A bad match, a bad finish, an angry crowd.

- A promo for Jeff Hardy's debut on Raw tomorrow night aired.

- DX talked to someone backstage and told him that Vince called Umaga the biggest monster in WWE. The secret man got angry and threw stuff around. DX were happy to have angered a monster (Kane?), hoping he'll come help them later on tonight.

- Godsmack with "The Enemy" is another official song for SSlam that was plugged.

6) D-Generation X beat The McMahons at 13:01 when Triple H pinned Mr.McMahon after a Pedigree.

HHH & HBK did the whole Dx entrance on the mike. Vince & Shane came out and before getting in the ring they sent out the 5 members of the Spirit Squad, but DX took care of them easily. Vince then sent out Kennedy, Regal & Finlay, but they got ax'ed easy too. Vince & Shane then sent out the Big Show and finally 4 on 2, DX was killed. Trips was chokeslammed through a table by BS even before the match started. Vince & Shane smiled and came to the ring and thanked the guys, but now they can take care of it. The McMahons double-teamed HBK while Trips was catching his breath outside. They imitated the finishers of a few famous tag teams like Demolition, the Hart Foundation or the LOD on HBK, but HBK kicked out at 6:30. At 8:10 Triple H finally got the hot tag after waking up. DX killed the McMahons until 10:05 when Umaga came out and Samoan Spiked Triple H. Kane came out before he could do the same to HBK and fought with Umaga to the back. Vince covered Trips, but he kicked out. Irrate, Vince Ko'ed the ref. Shane set up the VanTerminator but HBK came out of nowhere with a Superkick on Shane in mid-air. They then KO'ed Vince with a garbage can, a Superkick and a Pedigree for the pin.

So basically, DX > 12 people.

- They plugged WM 23 with tickets going on sale in november.

- JR plugged Unforgiven on PPV, which will be 9/17 in Toronto.

 7) WWE champion, Edge (with Lita) beat John Cena in a "title can change hands on a DQ. match" at 15:42 after KO'ing him with brass knuckles.

Lita gave a chair to Edge, but he looked at her like she was crazy sinc ehe doesn't want to be DQ'ed. At 11:45 Edge hit an Impaler DDT but Cena kicked out. Edge bumped into Lita and Cena Rolled him up for a 2 count. After a double Clothesline, they were both KO'ed at 13:15. Cena put the STFU on Edge, but he caught the rope before Lita interfered. She gave his brass knux. Cena actually lifted both Edge and Lita at the same time for a double FU. He FU'ed Lita but Edge escaped and KO'ed Cena with the knux and pinned him to keep the title.
