The online version of Heat is now online. This weeks show features Rob Conway taking on legend Koko B Ware. Also, Kerwin White takes on Val Venis. You can check out the latest edition of Heat at WWE.com

(1) Shelton Benjamin defeated Johnny Parisi with the T-Bone suplex.

Segment one opens with Shelton Benjamin taking on Johnny Parisi in singles action. No coach this week as Tommy Dreamer is taking his place on commentary with Todd Grisham. Tommy appears to be the world's biggest Heat fan. The announcers talk about how the fans voted Shelton into the Intercontinental title match at Taboo Tuesday last year. They lock up and Parisi goes for the arm early on, but Shelton springs himself off the ropes and reverses it. Matt Striker comes out at the top of the ramp to look on. As you recall last week, Striker had walked out on Shelton in a tag match against Kerwin White and Nick Nemeth. Shelton hits a backdrop and an armdrag, but Parisi gets out of it with a series of punches and kicks. Parisi tries an Irish whip to the corner, but Shelton reverses him into the corner and hits a forearm to the back. Shelton finally notices Striker and glares at him. He gives Parisi a kneelift but is distracted by Striker's presence. Parisi rakes the eyes then goes for a back suplex, but Shelton slips out the back door and hits a couple right hands. He whips him to the corner and charges in, but Parisi moves out of the way and Shelton goes shoulder first into the corner post. Parisi takes advantage with some kicks in the corner and follows with a choke. He then hits a shortarm clothesline for a one count. Parisi goes to a front facelock to wear him down. Shelton fights out, but Parisi hits a few forearms to the back and a knee to the face to regain control. Parisi goes for a suplex, but Shelton lands on his feet and springs to the top rope for a reverse flying forearm. Shelton hits a series of clotheslines, so Parisi tries throwing him outside the ring, but Shelton catches himself on the ringapron and gives Parisi a springboard blockbuster. Shelton whips Parisi to the corner and hits the stinger splash. Parisi staggers out and Shelton slaps on the T-Bone suplex for the 1-2-3. Striker gives an insincere clap before walking to the back. They close out the segment with a video hyping the Taboo Tuesday main event, a triple threat match for the WWE title with John Cena defending against Kurt Angle and a mystery opponent to be determined by the fans. The choices are Shawn Michaels, Kane and The Big Show.

THE VERDICT

Decent match. Bascially a squash for Shelton, but Parisi did get some offense in. They are furthering the Shelton/Matt Striker feud. It boggles the mind why that is a match that must be built to. It's scary to see Shelton in the curtain jerker on Heat when you know he can be doing much more.

(2) Tyson Tomko defeated Shawn Riddick by knockout

Segment two starts off with the problem solver Tyson Tomko taking on Shawn Riddick. Tomko attacks with a spinebuster and pretty much beats the hell out of Riddick with punches and knee strikes as the crowd chants "Tomko sucks." Tomko throws him to the outside and rams him back into the ring apron. He rolls him back in but gets caught with a punch to the gut. Tomko throws him in the corner and charges in, but Riddick moves out of the way. This allows Riddick to get a couple right hands in. Tomko breaks that up with a knee and whips him to the corner. Riddick jumps to the ring apron and gives Tomko a shoulderblock to the gut before climbing to the top, but Tomko hits THE KICK OF DEATH! THE KICK OF DEATH! Riddick lays unconscious on the floor as the ref checks him and awards the knockout victory to Tyson Tomko. Tomko runs into Snitsky backstage. Snitsky says "Hey Tomko. Great match man. I love how you tore his head off with that boot. But you know what? It kinda reminded me of last week's battle royal on raw when you took my head off with that same boot. But you know what? I can respect that and I was thinking I'd rather have you with me than against me. So what do you say. Snitsky. Tomko. New tag team around here. What do you think?" Tyson wasn't sure. Snitsky said "Come on man. We got the goatees, we're big, we're scary. We got the foot fetish...oh, that's me with the foot fetish. But anyway, what do you think? New tag champs baby." Tomko said he'd think about it but didn't seem crazy about the idea. They close out the segment with a video hyping the Taboo Tuesday match between Ric Flair and Triple H. Fans determine the stipulation and have the choices 1 fall to a finish, submission or steel cage.

THE VERDICT

The match was what it was. It put Tomko over as a monster and his knockout streak continues. This segment is must see just for the Snitsky promo. That was so bad and I loved every minute of it.

(3) Kerwin White defeated Val Venis with a rollup with a handfull of tights.

Segment three has Kerwin White taking on Val Venis. "Chavo sucks" chants ring from the crowd. They lock up and Val works on the arm early while the announcers talk about the Gregory Helms promo on WWE Unlimited this past Monday. Tommy Dreamer gives a mini rant on Helms acting as the voice of the fans. Kerwin goes to a side headlock but Val gets out of it and goes back to the arm. Kerwin finally makes it to the ropes and gives Val a thumb to the eyes on the break. Kerwin whips him to the corner and begins to work on the back with some kicks and knees. Kerwin follows with a back suplex for a two count. Kerwin taunts the crowd, then whips Val to ther ropes for a backdrop. The "Chavo sucks" chant starts up again as Kerwin continues to work on the back. Val elbows his way out but with the damage done to his back, he is unable to get Kerwin up for a suplex. Kerwin hits a forearm and suplexes Val who lays on the mat in pain. He whips Val to the ropes and lowers his head for another backdrop, but this time Val kicks him in the head. Val hits a series of punches and whips Kerwin to the ropes for a backdrop. Val holds his back in pain. Val whips him to the ropes and hits a series of ten clotheslines in the corner. He hits a half-nelson slam but instead of going for the cover, he goes to the top rope for the money shot. Nick Nemeth jumps on the ring apron and distracts Val allowing Kerwin time to recover. Val punches Nick off the ring apron, but the distraction allows Kerwin to roll up Val by the tights and score the pin. They close the segment with a video recap of the John Cena/Kurt Angle match from Raw this past Monday.

THE VERDICT

This was probably the best match of the show. The problem is no one takes either guy seriously. There was no mention at all about Val and Viscera's non-title win over the tag champs last week. If we're supposed to care about non title wins, the announcers need to take at least five seconds here and at least make mention of it. In the commentary of the next segment, while discussing the tag title match at Taboo Tuesday, Grisham claims that Cade and Murdoch have never lost a match, so apparantly last week's win by Val and Viscera never happened.

(4) Rob Conway defeated Koko B Ware with the ego trip

Segment four opens with a video hyping the Steve Austin vs. Jonathan Coachman match at Taboo Tuesday. Fans will choose the type of match and the choices are verbal debate, arm wrestling or street fight. Main event time with the birdman Koko B Ware taking on Rob Conway. Conway attacks Koko about halfway down the ramp. He works him over on the floor before ramming him into the ringpost. He rolls him in and stomps him in the corner. Conway knocks him to the ground after a couple forearms then chokes him in the ropes. Conway bodyslams Koko and follows with a couple elbow drops before slapping the legend. Finally Koko gets some offense in with some windup punches. Koko whips him to the ropes for a clothesline but Conway ducks and hits one of his own. Conway whips him to the corner, but Koko reverses Conway to the corner and charges in, but Conway moves out of the way. Conway follows up with the ego trip to score the pin. Eugene runs down after the match but Conway pulls him out to the floor where he hits the ego trip on him as well. At Taboo Tuesday, Eugene will team up with a legend that the fans choose to take on Rob Conway. The choices are "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka, "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan and Kamala.

THE VERDICT

This was really not much of a match at all. Pretty much a squash for Conway. This is an interesting gimmick where Conway takes on one of the old legends every week. Really though, the entrance of the legends is really the only payoff. Once the match starts, you realize how old the guy is.

OVERALL

Well, when Kerwin White vs. Val Venis is the best match on the show, that tells you alot about the show. They did have a solid match, but Kerwin is sorta turning into the Team Canada of Heat where he has the same predictable finish to his match every week. Val has been jobbed out way too long to be taken seriously either. It's sad to see Shelton Benjamin in the curtain jerker on Heat when I think he could be doing so much more. He really needs a heel turn bad to add something to his currently bland character. I think Parisi could be doing more as well maybe in a tag team of some kind. The Tomko/Snitsky thing was kinda interesting. When Snitsky gets a microphone in a hands, you never know what's gonna happen and its usually must see TV in that so bad that its good kinda way.

They did a decent job hyping up Taboo Tuesday. Excuse me while I go on a bit of a rant but I just really don't know what they're thinking with that show. Last year's event bombed and yet they decided to do it again. Who wants to watch a pay per view on Tuesday night? Not I, thats for sure. Then you factor in that they promote it as the fans being in control of the show when there aren't any options for the fans to have. We may as well be voting for the President again. If either Kane or Big Show get over 10%, I think I'll be stunned. We get the in ring return of Stone Cold Steve Austin against an announcer? And on the same show they have Mick Foley in a pretty meaningless match as well. Legends like Austin and Foley need to be used a lot better while they can still make a difference. It seems like one of those pay per views just for the sake of having a pay per view and that's never good.
