THE VERDICT

Great match. First match in and they're already off to a bang. Just a fantastic back and forth match with tons of counters and both men really carried their end. These two work really well together and this is definitely a segment to check out.

(2) Christian defeated Brian Kendrick with the Unprettier

Kendrick opens up with a flurry of offense from the get go. Christian comes back with some punches and kicks, but Kendrick lands a drop toe hold and slaps around Christian. Christian runs into a spin kick and Kendrick gets a two count. Christian takes control after a thumb to eye he drops Kendrick stomach first across the top rope and then gives him a knee lift sending him to the floor. Kendrick hits a top rope senton for two but Christian drapes his foot over the bottom rope to break up the pin. Kendrick goes for sliced bread #2, but Christian reverses shoving him into the corner then hits the Unprettier for the pin.

Segment closes with an advertisement for the divas uncovered book.

THE VERDICT

Another good match. This was a match to showcase Christian, but Kendrick certainly held his own. Not to the level of the first match, but certainly a good one in its own right. Definitely worth checking out.

Segment three was just a recap of the main event from Smackdown where Bob Orton faked an injury and Ken Kennedy took his place teaming with Randy Orton against Batista and Eddie Guerrero. This is leading to a six man match this week with the Ortons and Kennedy taking on Batista, Eddie Guerrero and Roddy Piper. Good recap video if you missed smackdown. Otherwise, you've already seen it.

(3) The New LOD wrestled William Regal and Paul Burchill to a no contest to retain the WWE tag team titles when MNM and The Mexicools interfered.

Segment four opens with a commercial for the batman begins DVD. Good movie. Main event time as William Regal and Paul Burchill challenge the new LOD for the WWE tag team titles. Burchill and Heidenreich start this one. Burchill attacks Heidenreich from behind and hits a flurry of punches and kicks and rakes the eyes before tagging out to Regal. Regal lands a flurry of kicks and forearms before tagging out to Burchill. After some more kicks, Burchill covers for a two count. Burchill follows with a couple forearms to the back and hits a release fisherman's suplex. He covers for a one count and tags back out to Regal. Regal and Burchill continue the dominance of Heidenreich keeping him in their corner. Heidenreich finally gets in an offensive move back suplexing Burchill out of a side headlock. This allows Heidenreich to make the tag to Animal. Animal comes in and cleans house. Burchill goes for a kick, but Animal reverses it into a Dragonscrew leg whip. Regal breaks up the pin before even a one count. All four men in the ring when MNM hit the ring and attack Animal and Heidenreich. The Mexicools hit the ring shortly after to even things up. The two mystery guys from Smackdown (The Tolands) attacked Animal while Burchill gave Heidenreich a shoulderbreaker. The announcers put over the four way tag team title match this coming week on Smackdown where the new LOD will defend against Regal and Burchill, MNM and The Mexicools.

THE VERDICT

This was a good match for really getting over Regal and Burchill. They really have a good thing going as sort of an old school type tag team, not flashy but they just come in and take care of business. Good setup for the four way next week on Smackdown. The match was short, but it was decent till the run-ins at the end.

OVERALL:

Overall I have to say another good show from the Velocity crew. The Cruiserweight Title match with Juvi and London was really good and definitely worth going out of your way for. Brian Kendrick looked good in a losing effort to Christian and the main event was good in building up Regal and Burchill as legit contender to the tag team titles. I think most people have only looked at MNM as the team to unseat LOD, but now Regal and Burchill are up there as well. Pretty good show all around. I recommend checking it out.
