Mike Tenay and Don West welcomed viewers to the show, which was taped January 15 at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.

Moments ago, we were told, Steve Borden and James Mitchell had fought in the garage, and Mitchell ended up in the trunk of Sting’s car.

Jeremy Borash had a microphone handy as Team 3D accused Brother Runt of screwing them out of the tag titles at the pay-per-view by coming out drunk and misbehaving.  They ordered Runt to stay away from them tonight during their rematch with LAX.

(1)  Rematch:  Latin American Xchange vs. Team 3D.  Team 3D was fired up, to say the least, then Runt came down to ringside.  Devon was left alone as Brother Ray escorted Runt far, far away.  Ray came back and took on LAX, even getting a near fall.  Unfortunately, Brother Ray got pinned after a cheap shot with a blackjack, and Team LAX took the win.

Borash was backstage, where Abyss was screaming and throwing things when he couldn’t find James Mitchell.

In the ladies room, Gail Kim and Jacqueline, Miss Texas, Ms. Tennessee were brawling in the stalls until security broke them up.

Christy Hemme had some harsh words for that other fed, and said she felt women deserved respect.  She’s right, you know.  She’s damn right.

Christian Cage came down to the ring with the title belt over his shoulder.  He confirmed that his opponent at “Against All Odds” would be Kurt Angle.  He made a crack about Angle, who headed to the ring to give Christian a piece of his mind.

Angle told Cage to enjoy the title belt while he had it, because he planned to take the title belt home and put it right next to his Olympic Gold Medal.  Cage said Angle didn’t know how to channel his emotions so he had hired someone as a consultant.  Angle tried to guess the consultant’s identity.  Goldberg?  Brock Lesnar?  No matter, Angle blew his top and attacked Cage.

Somewhere in the dark of night, Borden had arrived at his destination and pulled Mitchell out of the car trunk and slammed him against a chain link fence.

Outside the prison/asylum where Abyss had languished, Mitchell was a bloody mess.  Not a very Christian thing to do.  Nonetheless, Steve Borden insisted on knowing what Abyss was hiding.  Mitchell said Abyss was nothing, an animal that he used as his meal ticket.  Borden said when he looked into Abyss’s eyes, he saw a human being.  When he looked at Mitchell, he saw a black heart.  Borden cuffed Mitchell to the fence and said he was going to get his answer from Abyss.

Bulletin:  Tenay said he’d learned that Steve Borden was headed to the building.

Kevin Nash said it was time for his PCS guys to leave the nest.  But first they needed an extreme make-over.  It came in the form of a beat-down.

Angle was furious about Christian’s “consultant” and was grilling James Cornette about what Christian was up to.  Cornette told him not to let Cage get into his head.

(2)             Lance Hoyt vs. James Storm (w/Miss Tennessee).  Hoyt was impressive when it came to tossing Storm around.  Dale Torberg and A.J. Piercynski were sitting at ringside and eventually interfered, allowing Storm to take the win.  Hoyt got a beating from the baseball players.  Meanwhile, Miss Tennessee and Gail Kim continued their hair-pulling match.

Eric Young said Miss Brooks was driving him crazy.  He confided to Borash that he needed to shop for condoms.

A.J. Styles was full of himself as he talked to Borash.  He wanted to know what Kurt Angle had actually done?  When Borash told him he’d won an Olympic Gold Medal, Styles said he was not impressed.

Moments ago, Steve Borden drove up.  He got out and headed into the building.  He also left his headlights on.  Whoops.

(3)  Main Event:  Kurt Angle vs. A.J. Styles.  Styles was pretty confident starting out, but Angle put him in his place.  Tomko walked down the ramp and distracted Angle, allowing Styles to get the advantage.

(Commercial break)

Returning from the break, Styles had Angle in a submission hold.  Angle battled out of it, only to be covered for a pin by Styles.  Tomko got into an argument with the ref, and Styles took the opportunity to go after Angle with a chair.  Angle ducked and pinned Styles for the win, after which Angle went after Tomko.  Tomko and Christian and Styles teamed up to beat the snot out of Angle.  Rhino ran down to help Angle.  And so did Samoa Joe.  The plot thickens.  Angle and Joe exchanged words and security jumped in to defuse the situation.

Steve Borden had made it to the ring with his baseball bat and called Abyss to come out.  Borden demanded to know what Abyss was hiding.  Why had he been that prison?  Abyss was conflicted.  He started to talk, then changed his mind.  Borden kept poking him with the baseball bat and Abyss cringed in fear.

Borden said it was public record and he’d find out for himself.

A tormented Abyss fell to his knees in the ring, and his agonized screams ended the show.
