Wrestling Society X

Your hosts, Bret Ernst and Kris Klos deliver a brief preview of tonight’s show:

Team Dragon Gate vs. That 70’s Team

WSX Championship Match: Vampiro vs. Six-Pac

Musical Guests:  Three Six Mafia (Juicy Jay & DJ Paul)

Ernst and Klos recap last week’s WSX Rumble where Vampiro and Six-Pac were the winners after they each grabbed a contract to face each other for the WSX Championship.

Announcer Fabian gets the fans fired up literally with some pyro to introduce the first match of the night.

1.  Luke Hawx vs. Human Tornado

Recap airs of last week’s WSX Rumble where Hawx helped Alcatraz eliminate Kaos.   The Human Tornado makes his way down a ladder from the ceiling and enters the ring.   Test of strength with Tornado embarrassing Luke Hawx.  A frustrated Hawx goes for a kick to the groin but it has no effect (the announcers remind the fans that Tornado has balls of steel).   Tornado dominates most of the match.  Lots of high spots including a leg scissor takedown by Tornado which shoot Hawx out of the ring.  Tornado dives out of the ring with a nice looking tope.  He then tosses Hawx back into the ring for some more punishment.  Tornado DDT on Hawx and it’s all over as the Human Tornado makes the pin.

WINNER:  Human Tornado

Aaron Aguilera runs in to lay a beat down on Hawx.  Alcatraz makes the save by attacking Aguilera.  Kaos enters the ring with a ladder then sets up a table inside the ring as Alcatraz gets beat down.  Kaos goes to the top rope but Hawx has regained his senses and he knocks Kaos off (as Aguilera is busy flirting with the ladies at ringside) sending him through the table.  The announcers remind the fans that Aguilera has been more concerned with the mama sites than with taking care of business in the ring.

HYPE VIDEO: THE FILTH & THE FURY (Teddy Hart & MDogg 20 Matt Cross)

Cross proclaims Hart is the best in Canada while he’s the best in America.  They issue an open challenge to any team in WSX.  They’ll be in action next week!

2. That 70’s Team (Disco Machine & Joey Magnum)vs. Team Dragon Gate (Horiguchi & Yoshino) The announcers say that there’s not much known about Team Dragon Gate other than that they are lightning fast, so fast in fact that their opponents don’t know what hit them until after the match when they review the match tape on slow motion (now that’s fast!) Horiguchi and Joey Magnum get things underway with Horiguchi using his quickness to slip out of an arm bar .  Both team members tag in to their respective partners .  Horiguchi ducks out of the way of a dropkick.  Joey Magnum looks winded so he asks Disco for an asthma inhaler to catch his wind.  The announcers point out that Joey suffers from asbestos-related asthma (since the dangers of asbestos weren’t known in the 70’s).  Fast paced match with Dragon Gate pretty much dominating.   Tilt-o-whirl slam on Yoshino by Magnum looks to have things won but Yoshino kicks out.  However he’s dazed enough to fall to a Super 70’s Superkick by Magnum.

WINNERS: That 70’s Team (Magnum pins Yoshino)

After the match,  Horiguchi is none too happy with his team’s loss and he destroys That 70’s Team’s disco ball.

HYPE VIDEO:  Trailer Park Boyz  “White Trash” Johnny Webb talks about how family problems have kept him out of the ring.  He’s decided to help his relative’s  two boys learn how to wrestle.  They’ll have their debut match on the WSX website www.wsx.mtv.com and they’ve accepted the open challenge from The Filth and the Fury

  1. Wrestling Society X Championship: 6-Pac vs. Vampiro:

This match will determine the first WSX Champion.  During the commercial break, a casket was brought to ringside (a Vampiro signature according to the announcers).  6-Pac surprises Vampiro by spraying water in his face then delivering a spin kick.  Vampiro gets his bearings back as the announcers say Vampiro has the size advantage while 6-Pac has the skills advantage.  6-Pac dishes out some offense including a Bronco Buster to gain some momentum over Vampiro.  6-Pac tosses Vampiro out of the ring and dives on top of him for the pin but Vampiro kicks out.  Vampiro fights back by tossing 6-Pac into the steel post.  Vampiro sets up a table but 6-Pac recovers and sets Vampiro on the table.  Vampiro gets off the table as Pac climbs the top rope but before Vampiro can do anything, Pac Tornado DDT’s him  through the table. Another pin attempt but once again Vampiro kicks out.  As 6-Pac tries move after move on Vampiro, the announcers point out that an opponent can be pinned anywhere. 6 Factor (X-Factor) on Vampiro but Vampiro kicks out yet again.  Vampiro finally gets some offense in by delivering a low blow to 6Pac.  He follows up with a Tombstone Piled river on 6-Pac right through the coffin.  The coffin explodes as 6-Pac smashes through it. The referee counts to three but no one can see who is making the pin.  Things are quickly resolved though as the ghost-white hand of Vampiro is raised in victory.  Vampiro wins the match and the WSX belt!

WINNER: Vampiro by pinfall.
