At ringside, the bimbos are back in the cages!  No doubt setting things up for Christy Hemme to complain about TNA’s misuse of women.

INTERVIEW:  Scott Steiner pulls up in a pickup truck with Tyson Tomko.  Steiner runs down Tomko then flirts with TNA’s blond microphone holder.

“Shillmaster” Don West is standing near one of the cages, no doubt hoping to catch some real T&A as sneaks up and takes the microphone from Don West.  Brother Devon joins him and Ray states he wants the Little Italy Street Fight to start now.

  1. LITTLE ITALY STREET FIGHT:  TEAM 3D (Brother Ray & Brother Devon) vs. NWA World Tag Team Champions LAX (Hernandez & Homicide w. Konnan )  Non-Title

Konnan enters the Impact Zone in a wheelchair.  Distracted by Konnan, Team 3D don’t see Hernandez & Homicide sneak out from under the ring.  Café tables are set up in the ring with checkerboard tablecloths but not for long.  Homicide faces off against Brother Ray while Brother Devon tangles with Hernandez.  Homicide blasts Ray with a chair.  When he goes for a dive on Ray, Ray catches him then rag dolls him onto the entranceway.  Hernandez dives out of the ring towards Devon but Devon catches him with a chair, blasting him.  The bimbos at ringside start dancing for Brother Ray, distracting him and giving Homicide time to regroup.  In the ring, Homicide has a pizza cutter and he’s using it to take a slice out of Devon’s head.  Brother Ray goes to save Homicide and grabs a cheese cutter, slashing Homicide with it.    Team 3D have things going their way when members of the Latino Nation rush the ring and try to help Homicide.  Team 3D clears the ring of them and return to punishing Homicide.  Whassup! On Homicide. Team 3D bring in a table.  Hernandez tries a double clothesline but misses.  Whassup! On Hernandez until Devon notices more members of the Latino Nation and ringside and dives after them.  Homicide returns to the ring and helps Hernandez double team Brother Ray.  Hernandez slams Ray through the table but can’t get the 3 count.  Brother Ray dives in and tosses Hernandez over the top rope.  Cover on Homicide by Devon but Homicide kicks out.  Brother Devon goes for a superplex but members of the Latino Nation hold his leg, stopping him.  Hernandez has Devon where he wants him and he finishes him off with the Border Toss.

INTERVIEW: Jeremy Borash interviews Austin Starr about his match tonight against Senshi.  Starr says he’s the best wrestler pound for pound in TNA.  Starr says he’s not distracted by Kevin Nash’ games anymore.  As he runs down Senshi, Backlund dances around him.  Starr warns him to keep his hands off him or “he’ll change his channel”

  1. Austin Starr vs. Senshi

West and Tenay hype Senshi’s incredible martial arts abilities.  Senshi proves them right as he takes the lead in the match.  Nearfall on Starr.  Austin Starr executes a suicide dive onto Senshi as he’s standing outside the ring.  Starr tosses Senshi back into the ring then throws a flying elbowsmash onto Senshi for a two count.  Senshi fires back with some punches.  Mike Tenay says Jeremy Borash is backstage trying to get an interview with NWA Champion Christian Cage.  They discuss the apparent tension between “Big Poppa Pump” Scott Steiner and Tomko.  Starr puts Senshi on the ropes and chokes him as the referee warns him.  Senshi tries to rally back with some punches but Starr stops him cold.  Starr starts to showboat, giving Senshi time to rally back but his comeback is short-lived.  Starr seems to have Senshi’s number tonight.  Starr’s showboating gives Senshi another chance and this time he catches Starr with a clothesline.  Senshi fires off some nice looking kicks and covers Starr for a two count.  Senshi fires off some chops.  Another nearfall on Starr.    After Senshi misses a run into the corner, Starr slaps a sleeper variation on Senshi but Senshi breaks out.  Senshi goes for the Warrior’s Way but Starr ducks out of the way.  Starr tries a rollup on Senshi but Senshi reverses it.  Both men’s shoulders are down for the pin but Senshi raises his at the last minute.

WINNER: Senshi by pinfall.

After the match, a disgruntled Starr is throwing chairs into the ring.  Starr gets on the stick and demands that the match be restarted. Starr sits down in the middle of the ring until Mr. Backlund jumps in the ring and starts screaming at Starr.  Backlund snaps and puts Starr into the Chickenwing, escorting him to the back.

INTERVIEW:  Keremy Borash is in the locker room with Christian Cage and Tomko.  Tomko demands that Christian Cage set Steiner straight.  Steiner storms in and tells Cage he’s not working with Tomko.  Cage reasons with Steiner, telling him that Kurt Angle took Steiner’s spot and took food out of Steiner’s kids’ mouth.  Steiner tells Cage that he’s starting to want Cage more than he wants Angle.  Cage shouts at Tomko and tells him to patch things up with Steiner.

Mike Tenay and Don West ponder whether Steiner and Tomko can co-exist.  Tenay speculates on Christy Hemme’s opponent.

VIDEO:  Recap of Christy Hemme’s battle to gain respect for women in TNA.

  1. TUXEDO MATCH: Christy Hemme vs. Big Fat Oily Guy

Tenay and West run down the rules.  They’re simple, to win you must strip the tuxedo off of your opponent.  Christy is disgusted that she has to fight in this type of match and apparently even less happy with her opponent.  Hemme goes after the fat guy but things backfire when she tries a monkey flip on him and is knocked to the ground.  Fat guy misses a big splash and it’s anybody’s match at this point.  Hemme tries a sunset flip and gets pancaked for her trouble.  As he stands over her, Big Fat Oily Guy is caught off guard as Hemme pulls his pants off, winning the match.

WINNER:  Christy Hemme

Hemme is on the stick.  She says Cornette’s plan backfired.  Voodoo Kin Mafia’s music plays and Kyp James enters the ring to confront Hemme. Kyp grabs the mic from her and mocks her win.  He says the people came didn’t come to see her wrestle.  Kyp James rips her top off as Hemme storms out of the ring.  The fans cheers Kyp James.

  1. Dale Torberg (w. A.J. Pierenski) vs. Lance Hoyt (w. David Eckstein)

Hoyt starts off strong against Torberg.  Tenay and West bring up Torberg’s past as the KISS Demon.  Hoyt tosses Dale out of the ring then goes to suplex him on the floor.  Unfortunately A.J. punches him in the nuts, breaking things up.  A.J.  tosses Hoyt into the ring barrier and then back into the ring.  Torberg starts to wear down Hoyt with brawling but Hoyt is far from finished.  Clothesline on Torberg followed by a big boot.  Hoyt climbs the top rope but AJ knocks him off with a steel chair.  Torberg capitalizes and pins him.  However after the match,  Dave Eckstein tells the referee what happened and he tells restarts the match.  As Torberg and AJ protest, Rick Ecstein blasts Torberg in the back with a chair.  Hoyt covers him for the pin.

WINNER:  Lance Hoyt pins Dale Torberg.

VIDEO: Paparazzi video continues with Eric Young bringing in fake flowers and half eaten chocolate for Traci.  Traci rips his shirt off and admires his new physique. Traci reminds Young that if he signs with Roode International, she’ll “seal the deal”

VIDEO:  Hype video for Styles vs. Rhino

  1. MOTOR CITY CHAIN MATCH:  “The Phenomenal” A.J. Styles vs. “The War Machine” Rhino

Referee Earl Hebner handcuffs the chain to Rhino and Styles.  The key to the handcuff is affixed to a pole atop one of the ringposts.  Rhino tries to pull Styles towards him but Styles bails out of the ring.  Rhino chases Styles around the ring as Styles tries to slip out of the handcuff but Rhino catches up with him and punches him with the chain.  Rhino manhandles Styles, tossing him into the ring barrier.  Styles’ counterattack stuns Rhino as Styles drops the dogs on him.  Rhino and Styles then go into a tug of war with the steel chain.  Not a bright idea as Rhino overpowers him and pulls him into the ringpost.  Styles rallies back and uses the chain to choke Rhino.  Styles follows up with a clothesline (with the chain wrapped around him) then tries to retrieve the handcuff key.  Rhino tries to pull Styles down but Styles jumps down and proceeds to dish out more punishment.  Styles launches a flying forearm off the top rope, laying out Rhino.  However when he tries the move a second time, Styles catches him with a knee to the groin.  Styles tries some rights on Rhino but Rhino blocks him and tosses him into the corner.  Spinebuster by Rhino on Styles.  Rhino covers Styles for a two count.  Rhino climbs the pole and retrieves a nightstick.  Rhino swings the nightstick but AJ Styles dodges and brings him to his knees with a kick to the groin.  Styles has the nightstick now and he’s channeling the Big Bossman as he beats Rhino down. Styles drops the nightstick then goes for the handcuff key.  Styles frees himself from the chain then delivers a frogsplash to Rhino.  Don West astutely points out that Styles is now free to use his aerial moves.  Inexplicably, Styles leaves the ring.  It looks like he’s bailing out but then he walks back to the ring.  Styles grabs the chain and handcuffs the other hand to the ring rope, effectively trapping Rhino.  Styles taunts Rhino waving the key in front of him. Rhino gets floored with a Pele.  Styles taunts Rhino some more but his taunting backfires and he Gores Styles.  Rhino is still chained though and he can’t get Styles.  However referee Earl Hebner nonchalantly kicks the key allowing Rhino to escape.  Rhino then sets up a table then goes to Gore Styles.  However Styles has been in this situation before and he drops to the ground, causing Rhino to miss and hit the table instead of Styles.  Styles capitalizes on Rhino’s error and pins him.

WINNER:  A.J. Styles pins Rhino

BACKSTAGE:  Alex Shelley asks his guests to predict what will happen next.

The Paparazzi Production continues with Young refusing to sign the contract.  Traci goes to leave and Young reconsiders.  Young signs the contract and thinks it’s time for some lovin’ with Traci.  She asks him to cover his eyes and give him some time to freshen up.  Traci bails out of the room then joins Robert Roode.  She asks Roode if he’s happy with her accomplishment but Roode seems indifferent.  The video ends and Kevin Nash mocks Young’s lack of game.  The video screening is interrupted by an irate Bob Backlund who berates Kevin Nash for promoting such moral decay.

VIDEO: Hype video for Sabin vs. Jerry Lynn

  1. X Division Championship:  Jerry Lynn vs. Chris Sabin (Champion)

West and Tenay talk about 24 year old Sabin’s impressive four X Division title reigns.  Lynn starts off strong.  Sabin doesn’t seem eager to face Lynn and bails out of the ring to slow Lynn down.  Jerry Lynn is taking Sabin to school.  Lynn applies a headlock to slow Sabin down but Sabin counters by stomping Lynn’s foot.  Battle of strength as Lynn powers out of a headlock.  Top wristlock on Sabin by Lynn.  Sabin escapes with a handful of hair but it almost costs him the match when referee Slyck Johnson sees the hair and threatens a disqualification.  Sabin embarrasses himself some more when he dives over the top rope at Lynn and Lynn sharply ducks out of the way.  When Lynn returns to the ring, Sabin catches him with a kick and he locks a modified surfboard on Lynn.  Lynn gets stuck in the Tree of Woe and Sabin dropkicks the easy target.  Sabin follows up with some vicious kicks to Lynn’s back.  Lynn reverses a Irish whip but he misses a dive on Sabin and Sabin slams him headfirst into the corner.  Backbreaker on Lynn.  Lynn is being worn down.  Lynn’s resilence shines through though and just when Sabin thinks he has Lynn down, Lynn explodes with his own offense.  Flying headscissors on Sabin off the top rope by Lynn.  Sabin has his own bag of tricks and he clotheslines Sabin’s head on the top ring rope.  Sabin follows up with more offense and covers him but Lynn kicks out.  Cradleshock attempt by Sabin but Lynn gets out and rolls him up for the pin.  Series of near falls on Sabin.  As things heat up further, Sabin surprises Lynn with his own pin attempt then uses the ropes for the added leverage to end the match.

WINNER:  Chris Sabin by pinfall.

Chris Sabin poses on the entranceway, taunting Lynn.

VIDEO:  Hype video for Destination X PPV.

West and Tenay remind the fans that tomorrow night, the only wrestling on tv will be TNA on Spike TV.

BACKSTAGE:  Samoa Joe is seen leaving Kurt Angle’s dressing room.

Back in the ring, Robert Roode and Traci enter the ring.  Roode grabs the microphone and tells the fans that he’s a happy man.  Thanks to his Chief Executive Offender Miss Brooks, he has a new acquisition to Robert Roode Inc.  He says Miss Brooks has finally done something right and he introduces “Primetime” Eric Young.  A dejected Young enters the ring.  Roode says he’s been baffled for the last three months trying to figure out what why the fans were so supportive of Young.  He figured things out though.  The fans see themselves in Young.  The fans are losers just like Young.   They’ll never know what it’s like to make love to a beautiful woman like Miss Brooks. Young goes to punch out Roode but he backs off when Roode reminds him that he signed a contract and he works for Roode now.  Roode says if Young touches him, he’ll make sure Young loses his job and his fans.  He then tells Young that he’s going to find out that “it pays to be Roode”.

BACKSTAGE:  Jeremy Borash interviews Cage about the drama between Steiner and Tomko.  Cage tells him everything is fine but Tomko storms off, leaving the situation in doubt. Christian calls out Angle and mocks him for still boasting about winning a Gold medal with a broken neck.  Jim Cornette shows up to remind Christian Cage that he’s defending the belt under NWA rules.  If Cage gets disqualified for outside interference by Steiner or Tomko, he loses the belt.

VIDEO:  Hype video for James Storm & Miss Tennessee vs. Petey Williams and Gail Kim.

  1. “Tennessee Cowboy” James Storm & “Pride of Tennessee” Ms. Jackie Moore vs. “Canadian Destroyer” Petey Williams & Gail Kim

Storm and Williams start things off as the announcers talk about how the fans began rooting for Williams after he defended the U.S. flag.  Storm tags in Jackie but she’s no match for Williams.  Williams tags in Gail Kim and Kim dishes out some punishment to Jackie.  Kim jumps on top of Jackie and starts punching her.  Jackie runs to Storm and tags out.  Williams  gets knocked to the mat by a vicious knee by Storm.  Storm tags in Jackie and she starts kicking Williams with no effect.  Wisely, she tags Storm back in and Storm continues the offense.  Storm goes to some mat wrestling with a strong facelock on Williams.  Williams looks like he’s fading fast.  The referee checks Williams’ arm to see if he’s lost consciousness.  Williams isn’t out yet but Storm isn’t letting up.  Storm delivers a nice looking dropkick.  Storm delivers the “Eye of the Storm” a tilt-a-whirl powerbomb style move.  Storm kicks in Miss Jackie and she covers Williams.  However Williams easily covers out.  Storm knocks her down with a side suplex.  Storm crawls to make the tag but Storm charges in.  Williams ducks out of the way and Williams takes control.  Side Russian leg sweep on Storm.  Williams goes for the Canadian Destroyer on Storm but Miss Jackie stops him.  Gail Kim tags in and lays out Jackie. Beautiful missile dropkick on Miss Jackie and Kim covers her.  Storm breaks up the pin.  Kim throws Jackie into the ropes for a roll up but the referee is busy jawing with Williams.  Jackie throws Kim into Storm and he knocks her down.  Jackie Moore covers Kim for the pinfall victory.

WINNERS:  Ms. Jackie Moore and James Storm by pinfall.

After the match James Storm goes after Petey Williams with the beer bottle but Williams avoids Storm and grabs the bottle.  However Ms. Jackie  stops him and James Storm superkicks Williams.  When referee Rudy Charles tries to stop the carnage, Miss Jackie DDT’s him.  Just when things are looking bad for Williams, “Wildcat” Chris Harris (sporting an eyepatch) rushes in to make the save.

VIDEO: Hype video for Sting vs. Abyss

INTERVIEW:  Jeremy Borash interviews Sting (who’s wearing Abyss’ facemask to hide the burns he sustained at the hands of “Father” James Mitchell).  Sting promises to free Abyss from the demonic control of Mitchell.  Sting tells Mitchell if he wanted “end times” then they’re here.

  1. PRISON MATCH:  Abyss (w. “Father” James Mitchell) vs. Sting

In order to win the match, you must luck your opponent in the solitary confinement cage which is suspended over the ring.  The cage will be lowered when a wrestler signals for it.  Mike Tenay tells the fans that TNA officials have ordered that the match begin outside the Imact Zone.  After the introduction, both men head to the back where Sting starts off strong with some garbage can shots. Abyss fights back and throws Sting into a nearby garbage dumpster.  Sting climbs the dumpster and dives off of it onto Abyss.  The two begin brawling their way through the Impact Zone.  Sting slams Abyss’ head into the ringpost before heading underneath the ring where he retrieves a baseball bat surrounded with barbed wire.  Sting uses the bat on Abyss and beats him down.  Sting motions for the cage to be lowered.  With Abyss laid out, Sting goes after James Mitchell.  The Stinger takes Mitchell’s belt off and whips Mitchell with it.  Both Abyss and Mitchell are busted open.  As Sting is choking Mitchell with the belt, Abyss blindsides him and knocks Sting down.  Abyss grabs his own weapon from underneath the ring-a table.   Abyss tries to force Sting into the cage but Sting fights him off.  Abyss then grabs a flashing red light off of one of the turnbuckles and breaks it over Sting’s head.  Abyss puts Sting in the cage but Sting blocks the door, keeping it open.  Abyss then heads out of the ring to grab a board covered in barbed wire.  Sting is still in the cage and Abyss goes to shut the door again.  Sting stops him again and then escapes the cage.  Sting fires off some punches but Abyss stops him cold with the Black Hole Slam.  Abyss pulls the mask off of Sting’s face. Abyss goes to close the door on Sting again but the Stinger kicks the door.  Sting fires back with two Stinger Splashes before tossing Abyss into the cage.  James Mitchell jumps in the ring and Sting goes after him, putting Mitchell in the Scorpion Deathlock.  This punishes Mitchell further but it also gives Abyss the opportunity to blindside Sting again.  Sting is knocked down and Abyss sets up the table he brought in earlier.  Abyss points to the cage and begins climbing it as Sting lays on the table.  Sting recovers and gets off the table as Abyss continues climbing.  Sting then grabs the board with the barbed wire and puts it on the table.  Sting hits Abyss with the barbed wire bat again stunning Abyss.  The Stinger then powerbombs Abyss through the table.  Abyss is in no condition to continue and Sting easily throws him into the cage.  Sting locks the door and wins the match.

WINNER:  Sting

After the match, Sting starts choking Mitchell.  Sting promised to finish Mitchell off and he continues choking him until TNA security breaks things up.

INTERVIEW:  Jeremy Borash interviews Kurt Angle about his upcoming NWA World Heavyweight Championship match.  Kurt Angle says he battled his way to this match.  Kurt Angle says Cage is good but he’s not good enough.

VIDEO:  Hype video for Kurt Angle vs. Christian Cage

  1. NWA World Heavyweight Championship:  Kurt Angle vs. Christian Cage  (Champion) w. Tomko.

Referees Andrew Thomas and Earl Hebner tell Tomko to leave the ring.  Charles tells Cage if Tomko doesn’t leave, he’ll be disqualified (and lose the title).  Tenay and West note the absence of Samoa Joe and Scott Steiner.  Samoa Joe was supposed to be at ringside but he’s nowhere to be found.  Angle starts things off strong, easily wrestling Cage to the mat before the champ grabs the ropes for a break.  Just then, Samoa Joe’s music plays and Joe makes a dramatic entrance.   Angle fires off some forearm uppercuts and Cage replies with chops.  Angle surprises Cage by going for the anklelock.  Angle tosses Cage out of the ring and brawls with him briefly outside the ring before launching a double axe handle off the mat apron onto Cage.  Cage craftily rakes Angle’s eyes but he loses his momentum when he confronts Samoa Joe.  Angle intercepts Cage and launches him into the ringpost.  Cage just can’t seem to get any kind of sustained offense in.  Angle Irish whips Cage into a corner but misses a shoulderblock and is launched into the steel post.  Cage goes out of the ring after Angle and stuns him with a neckbreaker.  Samoa Joe gets in Angle’s face and tells him not to blow his title shot.  Back in the ring, Cage is methodically wearing Angle down, focusing on the challenger’s neck. Cage slows things down with a chinlock on Angle.   Angle powers out of the chinlock but when he charges Cage, he misses and falls out of the ring through the ropes.  Things head back to the ring and Cage continues punishing Angle.   Cage misses a diving headbutt and Angle starts a comeback, clotheslining Cage twice.  Angle goes for the pin but Cage kicks out.  Backdrop suplex on Cage.  Angle goes for a belly to belly but Cage gets out.  Cage twists his way to seet Angle up for the Unprettier but Angle counters.  Angle goes for the anklelock but Cage grabs the referee and breaks things up.  As the referee gets his bearing back, Cage responds with a low blow to angle followed by a successful Unprettier. Failed bodyslam by Cage and Angle catapults Cage into the corner.  When Cage goes to dive off the top rope, Angle grabs him and slams him to the mat.  Angle gets not one, not two, not three, not four, not five, not six but seven German suplexes on Cage.  Angle covers Cage but the champ somehow gets his shoulder up.  Out of nowhere, AJ Styles shows up and climbs the top rope.  Samoa Joe chases him off but in the confusion, Cage blasts Angle with a steel chair as the referee’s attention is drawn.  Cage flies off the top rope with a nice frogsplash and covers the challenger.  Angle kicks out though!  Cage hits the Unprettier again on Angle as Samoa Joe returns to the ring.  Samoa Joe baits Cage to face him but Cage isn’t having any of it.  All hell breaks lose as referee Andrew Thomas gets knocked out of the ring.  Kurt Angle hits the Olympic Slam and covers Cage for the pin but Thomas is nowhere to be found.  Samoa Joe tosses Thomas into the ring but by the time he’s returned, Cage has enough gas in the tank to kick out.  Thomas is still stunned though.  Tomko blindsides Samoa Joe but Angle goes after him with several German suplexes.  “Big Poppa Pump” charges Angle with a pipe but Angle avoids him and Joe takes Steiner out.  Joe tells Angle to finish him and the two look like they’re going to fight.  Samoa Joe dives out of the ring and tackles Tomko and Steiner.  Joe heads off Steiner and Tomko as Angle slaps the anklelock on Cage.  Andrew Thomas is still out though and he doesn’t hear Cage tap out.  Cage grabs the steel pipe and blasts Angle with it.  A third Unprettier finally finshes Angle off and Cage covers him for the pin.

WINNER:  Christian Cage by pinfall.

After the match, Cage celebrates in the ring with Tomko and Steiner.  Tomko and Steiner shake hands, their differences apparently settled.
