4/30 WWE RAW: Mallory's Preview of Monday's Show

This week Raw will be live from the Gaylord Entertainment Center in downtown Nashville, Tennessee. It has been two years since Raw came to Music City U.S.A.

Monday's show will hinge on the outcome of tonight's "Backlash" pay-per-view. I'll go out on a limb here and predict that it won't be Randy Orton wearing the championship gold. Anyway, here's the preview from WWE.com:

Will John Cena still be WWE Champion after Backlash? The Champ will take on Shawn Michaels, Edge and Randy Orton in a Fatal Four Way Match, and since the first man to score a fall will win the match and the gold, Cena won’t even have to be involved in the decision to lose the WWE Title. HBK pinned Cena last week in London in a non-title WrestleMania Rematch; will HBK strike the gold this time? Will one of the members of Rated-RKO be gold-rated come Monday, or will Cena survive once again?

Speaking of survival, that’s exactly what Bobby Lashley must do at Backlash when he meets Umaga, Mr. McMahon, and Shane McMahon in a 3-on-1 Handicap Match for the ECW World Title. The McMahons & Umaga made a statement last week, destroying poor Robbie Brookside in preparation for the match. Should Lashley lose, the man who pins him or makes him submit will become champion; will a McMahon or a Bulldozer walk into Music City as the extreme kingpin?

Plus, the World Tag Team and Women’s Championships will be on the line at Backlash. Cade & Murdoch will challenge The Hardys, whom they have each beaten in a singles match over the last two weeks, and Melina will face the Diva she defeated for the Women’s Title, Mickie James. Whose waists will be sporting these titles after Backlash?
